ISCUS – The Structure

The International School for Clinical Ultrasonography (ISCUS) is carried by some 20-25 internists and radiologists with a longstanding experience in clinical ultrasonography. They form – coming from Europe and from the Near and Middle East – the Flying Faculty team, ready to travel onsite, to their trainee's countries and clinical institutions. Ready for teaching hands on (in small groups from doctors for doctors), and for lecturing so to say in their colleague's natural habitat – which in return can be quite teaching to the teachers.

ISCUS is supported by the European Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (EFSUMB) as well as by the national German Society of Ultrasonography in Medicine (DEGUM). ISCUS – with its "task force" Flying Faculty – offers ultrasonography know how transfer at any level needed - from beginners courses to advanced teach the teachers programs. You are welcome – ISCUS and FF will to support You to open the door to clinical ultrasonography, and to improve your knowledge and your patient service by means of "echo-scopia" (as it is correctly worded in Italian).
